Dear Brothers and Sisters,

On behalf of the Pennsylvania State Troopers Association, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a very Happy New Year! It is our hope that 2012 is a safe and prosperous year for you and your loved ones!

I would like to thank the many members we met this year who supported us in the recent election. On behalf of your new PSTA Vice President Todd Rudy, Secretary Richard Neiswonger and Treasurer H. Roy Dannehower, we humbly accept the privilege to serve.  Dave Bova has been named as the Grievance Board Chairperson and will ensure that our members are properly represented throughout the discipline process.

Although we have only taken office as of January 25, 2012, we have already begun work on the next membership contract. To ensure success, we are continuing our relationship with longtime PSTA solicitor Gary M. Lightman and the law firm of Lightman, Welby, Stoltenberg & Caputo. Make no mistake; we intend to fight vigorously to defend the salary and benefits all State Troopers deserve.

In these perilous times, it is more important than ever for the PSTA to provide constant assistance and strong leadership for its members. Thanks to your support, we intend to do just that. Your new leadership will be transparent and provide daily representation  in order to ensure each of you are rewarded for doing nothing less than the most dangerous job in the state.
